Network\Security Engineer:
  
Overview:
The primary purpose of the Network\Security Engineer position is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house voice, data, and wireless network services. This is achieved by managing, planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization which meet company standards for stability and security.
  
Essential Job Duties:
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network policies and procedures.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Delivers network (LAN/WAN, Load Balancing, Firewall security rule creation) projects on time and within standards and budget.
  • Management of Multi-Site\Multi-State MPLS
  • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, QoS).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
  • Deep Understanding of Network Security best practices and methodologies
  • Experience with Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls
  • Experience with Cisco, HP, and Dell networking equipment.
  • Understanding PCI Compliance
  • Understanding of IDS\IPS System design and management
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience of working in the Network arena
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network protocols administration
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience of working in the Network Network arena
  • Professional certification is a plus (Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CISSP)
