Job Overview:

As a recruiter for Unitek, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting high quality candidates across numerous functional areas and guide hiring managers and candidates through the screening, interview and selection processes. This key contributor will perform full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, internal staff and external contacts. A wide degree of creativity, near and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal discipline is required. Experience with a variety of recruitment methods performing search on a national scale is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide full lifecycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offers
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates for immediate hire in key positions
  • Leverage the provided online recruiting resources (Monster, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as use creative search techniques (advanced Boolean searching, referrals, networking, craigslist, innovative web searching)
  • Review resumes and phone-screen candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure a thorough understanding of the company culture
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative, efficient and cost-effective staffing strategies
  • Track all recruitment activities & data in Unitek’s staffing database
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
  • Compile and report team performance metrics to Executive Management as requested

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years Recruiting experience in a Staffing Agency or Corporate setting
  • Able to take ownership of candidate pipeline and requisition process to drive results (hunter mentality)
  • Full knowledge of all recruiting steps including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, qualifying, relationship management, and record keeping
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad and deep range of positions
  • Ability to able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Internet savvy and experienced in use of online and in-house databases as well as advanced recruiting techniques (AIRS style)
  • Demonstrable experience in a variety of candidate sourcing techniques (which include, but are not limited to, Boolean searching of resume databases, advanced Google search, cold call scripts, LinkedIn people-search functions)
  • Existing professional network on LinkedIn
  • Experience recruiting for sales and training industries a big plus
  • Strong project management skills a plus
